Adam Birnbaum and Doug Weiss present a concert devoted to the vibrant and inventive music of bebop pioneer, Charlie Parker, who toured Sweden for the one and only time in 1950.

American drummer Al Foster worked extensively on tours and recordings with Miles Davis between 1972 and 1991, and has performed with a long list of other great names in jazz including Freddie Hubbard, Sonny Rollins, Herbie Hancock, Dave Holland, Joe Lovano, Chick Corea, Bill Evans, John Scofield, John McLaughlin and Dexter Gordon.
