Eddie Reader is a Scottish vocalist who performed with the pop band, Fairground Attraction, before pursuing a flourishing solo career that includes the highly successful 2003 album, Songs of Robert Burns.

The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra has been an important part of the Scottish jazz scene since it was formed over 20 years ago by current director, Tommie Smith, one of the leading saxophonists in Europe.

Eddie Reader and The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra have performed extensively together and today’s concert features many of the best loved songs from Scotland’s dramatic history.
