Newsletter 10 - 2024
Dear jazz friends!
Important Information for Your Visit to Charlottenlund
Warm welcome to Charlottenlund on August 4th! Please read the attached instructions carefully.
Changes Since the Program was Printed:
The following rules now apply:
You are allowed to bring your own chair, blanket, bag, and umbrella.
You can also bring food, but no beverages are allowed.
Pre-ordered food can be picked up at the food tent.
Traffic Instructions:
Bus Tickets: Those with bus tickets depart from Hamntorget in Ystad, located south of the railway station. In Charlottenlund, the bus stops directly at the entrance.
Train: You can take the train to Svarte and then walk to Charlottenlund via the so-called Kärleksstigen. The path will be marked with pink flags for easy navigation. The walk takes 30 minutes at a leisurely pace.
Car: If you are driving, take the E65 and exit at Marsvinsholm. Follow the signs from there. The road to Charlottenlund from Västra Kustvägen (road 9) will be closed for long periods. To avoid traffic issues, we recommend traveling via the E65. Upon arrival at Charlottenlund, you will be directed to a parking space. Park closely together as parking space is limited. Parking along the roads is not allowed. Follow the instructions of the parking staff.
Parking:
We ask everyone attending either the Mezzoforte concert or Eric Gadd’s concert to promptly return to their cars and leave Charlottenlund. This is to ensure that those arriving for the final concert can find parking.
If we all consider each other, traffic and parking will proceed smoothly.
Tickets:
Tickets should be shown at the entrance and kept throughout the visit. Those with Lustkort discounts must show their Lustkort; without it, you will need to pay the difference for a regular ticket.
Seat tickets should be shown when entering the “arena” in front of the stage.
General:
Please help us keep the area clean by disposing of trash in the provided bins. Portable toilets are available.
Remember that we are all guests in the castle owner's garden.
We all have an exciting day ahead with wonderful concerts in a beautiful setting!
Once again – a warm welcome! |
