Mike Stern, one of the greatest jazz and jazz-fusion guitarists, brings his stellar band to Ystad for a concert that will feature his electrifying solos and mastery of sophisticated jazz harmonies in a set spanning everything from rock/fusion/jazz compositions to sweet and melodic ballads.

Mike Stern established his reputation with Blood, Sweat & Tears in 1976 before playing in bands with the likes of Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius and Billy Cobham.
Guitarist Leni Stern is also a vocalist and virtuoso on the ngoni, a traditional West African string instrument. Hungarian-born Gábor Bolla is widely recognised as one of Europe’s leading saxophonists. The rhythm section comprises Jimmy Haslip, the Yellowjackets bassist between 1977 and 2012, and drummer Dennis Chambers who has played with names such as John Scofield, John McLaughlin and Santana.
