Bengan Janson – accordion
Linda Pettersson – vocals
Lars Ericsson – bass

Three leading Swedish musicians who love to perform together will be playing a mix of well-known and less familiar songs with personal (“personligt”) connections in the serene setting of Saint Mary’s church in the heart of Ystad.

Bengan Janson is an accordionist whose musical range spans Swedish folk music, ballads, pop, rock and jazz. Along with Per Gudmundson, he won a Swedish Grammy Award in the Folk Music of the Year category in 2019 for the duo’s album “Hjeltamôs” (2018). He performed with opera singer Anne-Sofie von Otter at last year’s Nobel Prize Award Ceremony.

Jazz singer Linda Pettersson has worked with well-known Swedish musicians such as Lars Jansson, Putte Wickman and Peter Gullin. Her albums include “Remembering” (2010) and “Some Really Nice Songs We Really Like” (2007).

Lars Ericsson plays double bass and electric bass in different styles from jazz, blues and ballads to pop, rock and hard rock. He has recorded and toured with many well-established names in Swedish music, such as Tommy Körberg and Sharon Dyall.
