The starting point for the concert is the Lars Danielsson and Leszek Możdżer collaboration “Pasodoble” (2007), a critically acclaimed duo album that explored the musical landscape between classical music and jazz. Concerto magazine described the two musicians as “A wonderful duo in which virtuosity and musicality go hand in hand: creating beautiful, timeless music that transcends trends.”

Lars Danielsson is one of the most sought-after bassists worldwide. In 2012, he began his hugely successful Liberetto project, which has resulted in a series of albums – the latest is “Cloudland” (2021).

Leszek Możdżer is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most outstanding jazz pianists. One of his most recent collaborations was with violinist Adam Bałdych on the album “Passacaglia” (2024).
