DESCRIPTION:Biljett/Ticket\nJan Lundgren – piano\nMats Paulson – conductor\nMalmö Academy of Music Chamber Choir\nMattias Hjorth – bass \nJazz pianist Jan Lundgren\, bassist Mattias Hjorth and the Malmö Academy of Music Chamber Choir converge for a fusion concert drawn from classical\, folk and jazz – moving in time from Renaissance music to the music of today. \nJan Lundgren is a senior lecturer at the Malmö Academy of Music\, and has been teaching piano there since graduating from the Academy in 1991. He was mentored by Swedish jazz greats such as saxophonist Arne Domnerus and in turn has acted as mentor for many young talents\, helping to renew Swedish jazz. \nThe Malmö Academy of Music Chamber Choir is led by conductor Mats Paulson\, a senior lecturer in choral conducting at the Academy. The 25 members of the choir are all Academy students.

DESCRIPTION:Biljett/Ticket\nKurt Rosenwinkel (US) – guitar\nSeamus Blake (CA) – saxophone\nAlex Claffy (US) – bass\nJoe Farnsworth (US) – drums \nAmerican guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his double album “The Remedy”– recorded live at the Village Vanguard in New York in 2006 – by revisiting the music from what was widely hailed as a landmark live recording in modern jazz.   \nSince he first appeared on the New York music scene in 1991\, Kurt Rosenwinkel has become one of the most influential jazz guitar players of his generation. His musical range is evident from 15 albums as a leader\, from “East Coast Love Affair” (1996) to “The Brahms Project (2025). \nThe New York Times described Kurt Rosenwinkel as “a relentless explorer” who “has staked out a singular position in jazz’s firmament as a player\, composer\, and bandleader with a vast and supremely sophisticated harmonic vision and melodic sensibility.”

DESCRIPTION:Biljett/Ticket\nBobo Stenson – piano\nAnders Jormin – bass\nJon Fält – drums \nSwedish pianist Bobo Stenson has been a prominent figure in the world of jazz for over five decades. JazzTimes described him as “the greatest living jazz pianist born outside the United States.” \nBobo Stenson became established on the Stockholm jazz scene in the 1960s. He collaborated with Jan Garbarek in the 1970s and during the 1990s recorded albums with artists such as Charles Lloyd and Tomasz Stańko. \nThe current Bobo Stenson Trio\, with members Anders Jormin on bass and Jon Fält on drums\, has been together since 2008. The trio has recorded several albums including their most recent release\, “Sphere” (2023)\, which Jazzwise summed up as “a powerful introspective album that draws us into a world of intense mutual concentration\, with many moments of astonishing lyrical beauty.”

This year sees the 100th anniversary of John Coltrane’s birth. \nDanish harmonica virtuoso\, composer and arranger Mathias Heise has a long list of awards\, including first place in the 2013 Chromatic Harmonica World Championship\, when he was 20.  \nThe DR Big Band (Danish Radio Big Band) was founded in Copenhagen in 1964 The band has had many major international guest soloists over the years including Stan Getz\, Miles Davis\, Mike Stern and Richard Bona.

Her vocals are exquisite\, her compositions are melodic and memorable\, and her arrangements are extremely thoughtful.” \nIn just a few years since embarking on her international career\, she has toured extensively in Europe\, Asia\, Africa and the United States\, and made over 25 recordings as a sideman\, including four with American saxophonist Scott Hamilton. Since 2014\, she has recorded seven albums as leader of her piano trio\, establishing a reputation for her life-affirming swing and explosive virtuoso solos. Recent albums include “When in Rome” (2022)\, “Bop Web” (2024) and a live version “Bop Web – Nuccia Live” (2025).

They have worked together extensively in many different ensembles over the years and released a duo album “Jazz Poetry” in 2022. \nHighly-regarded saxophonist Rosario Giuliani has released a number of albums including “Cinema Italia” (2016)\, a celebration of Italian film music. \nJazz drummer Roberto Gatto has performed with a multitude of major names as a sideman such as Chet Baker\, Joe Zawinul\, Joe Lovano and Paolo Fresu.
