Good to know for August 4th in Charlottenlund castle
Soon It's Time to Enjoy All the Live Music at This Year's Ystad Sweden Jazz Festival
We are very much looking forward to seeing you!
For those of you who have not yet decided on the Charlottenlund concerts and might want more information, as well as for those who have already purchased day passes or one or more tickets to the concerts in Charlottenlund Palace Park on August 4th, here is some important information.
Seating
The Palace Park is designed like a natural amphitheater. You are welcome to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on. We also sell seating on chairs in front of the stage. The seats for the Tommy Körberg concert are sold out, but it is still possible to book seats for the Mezzoforte and Eric Gadd concerts. On the other hand, who can sit still to these bands?

Picknick
The Castle Park is perfect for picnics! We have made preparations to make it easy for you!
Food & Wine Tent
In the park, there is a Food & Wine Tent where you can buy freshly grilled food, beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee/tea, and cake throughout the day.
You can also pre-order picnic boxes with delicious contents.
The boxes can be picked up at the Food & Wine Tent.

Sandwiches with cured salmon and ricotta spread, savory muffin with ham and tomato, chicken in pita bread with avocado dressing, sesame-coated chicken drumstick, vegetable sticks, pasta salad with tomato, spinach, and herb dressing. Mini-Grignontons, sausage with Parmesan. Focaccia with olives, zucchini, and mozzarella. Small sweet cake, coffee/tea.

Find
Charlottenlund Castle is located about 9 km west of Ystad and about 2.5 km west of Svarte. The address is Charlottenlunds Allé 132, 271 93 Ystad.
Parking Parking spaces are limited, so it is a good idea to carpool with friends. During ongoing concerts, drive to the parking areas from the north, not from the coastal road.
Biking There is a scenic bike path along the sea, from Ystad and from Trelleborg, to Charlottenlund. Feel free to enjoy that experience!
Festival Bus A very good alternative is to take the festival bus from Ystad. It is scheduled for each concert, stops at Svarte station, and returns to Ystad after the concerts. During the breaks Refill with more good food and drinks! If it’s hot, your body needs more fluids.
Dreamcars opens just for you, so you can admire stylish old American cars and dream of a bygone era.
The JazzShop is, of course, open!
We are at the home of the Lachmann family, who have made the castle park available for the festival's closing event, the 15th jazz festival. Be considerate of their garden and use the designated containers for trash. If nature calls, there are mobile toilets available.

Auction of "Bluesette"
Jazz artist Birgitta Glenmark has donated this year's artwork "Bluesette" to the festival. The piece is now being auctioned off. The auction ends at Ystads Teater on Saturday, August 3rd at 8:30 PM (note the time). Place your bid at Auction – Ystad Sweden Jazz Festival (ystadjazz.se)
