Dear jazz friends, it's almost time to enjoy live concerts at this year’s Ystad Sweden Jazz Festival.
We’re very much looking forward to seeing you!
🎷 The arena at Charlottenlund – Doors open at 14.00
Charlottenlund’s castle grounds are shaped like a natural amphitheatre. You're welcome to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on. We also offer reserved seating on chairs in front of the stage.

🍴 Food & Drink
The castle grounds are perfect for a picnic! You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages. The restrictions in place during 2024 no longer apply.
On-site food options for those who don’t bring their own picnic include:
· Vietnamese Street Food serving delicious Asian dishes.
· Olaols Gelato from Österlen, offering fresh artisan ice cream made from local milk.
· The festival’s Jazz Picnic Bag from Kitchenone90, including:
a baguette with pesto mayo, salami, hard cheese and greens,
a cup of olives, a small bag of chips, and a cookie.

There will also be sales of beverages (water, soft drinks, non-alcoholic beer), coffee, tea, buns, and cookies.

Charlottenlund Castle is located approx. 9 km west of Ystad and 1 km from the coast.

🚴 By bike
There is a scenic coastal bike path from both Ystad and Trelleborg.
🚌 Jazz Bus
The Jazz Bus departs from Ystad Station, Hamntorget at 13:45 and 14:15,
and returns after the final concert.

🏰 The private castle grounds
We are guests at the home of the Lachmann family, who have generously made their castle grounds available for the final day of the 16th Ystad Sweden Jazz Festival.
Please be respectful of their garden and use designated waste bins.
Portable toilets are available if needed.
For questions or help, visit our Info Point on site – medical staff are also available there.
Don’t miss a wonderful afternoon and evening on the beautiful castle grounds of Charlottenlund!

16:30 – Karin Tingne with Big Blowi’ Band
18:00 – Unique concert: “To Quincy With Love”
A once-in-a-lifetime concert! This special tribute performance will never be repeated. It has been arranged exclusively for this occasion in honor of the festival’s late Honorary Ambassador Quincy Jones.
An unforgettable concert featuring:
Nils Landgren, Viktoria Tolstoy, Ida Sand, and the Bohuslän Big Band
Host: Jazz Ambassador Anne Lundberg
During the concert, Nils Landgren will be named the festival’s new Honorary Ambassador.

🖼️ Art auction – Peter Apelgren’s original
The original painting, made in oil pastels, is on display at Ystad Theatre, just outside the stalls near the southern terrace exit.
It will be auctioned off during the festival at:

🕕 The auction ends August 2nd at 18:00, at Charlottenlund – just before the tribute concert "To Quincy With Love" begins.
🎷 This year's jam session
Don't miss the concerts at O'Leary's – live music every evening!
This year’s jam session will also take place at O'Leary's, with Martin Jutéus 3 as the house band.
Catch them already on the festival’s opening day at Bäckahästen.
