This stellar Swedish-Italian quartet, playing together for the first time, will be performing music by composers such as Italian film score writers Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota, as well as original songs by the band members.

Pianist Jan Lundgren and bassist Hans Backenroth emerged on the Swedish jazz scene in the mid-1990s. They have worked together extensively in many different ensembles over the years and released a duo album “Jazz Poetry” in 2022.

Highly-regarded saxophonist Rosario Giuliani has released a number of albums including “Cinema Italia” (2016), a celebration of Italian film music.

Jazz drummer Roberto Gatto has performed with a multitude of major names as a sideman such as Chet Baker, Joe Zawinul, Joe Lovano and Paolo Fresu.
