“I am very glad and excited that, together with our committed jazz team, we can present a festival again this year. The audience is hungry for live music and we musicians and artists long to have an audience again. I am very much looking forward to the festival this summer”, says Jan Lundgren, Artistic Director of YSJF.

“We have put together a programme that has mostly indoor concerts, but we are prepared to rapidly move outside if the audience restrictions indoors become too limiting,” says Thomas Lantz, President of the YAZZ association, which arranges the festival with Musik i Syd.

“This year the Royal Swedish Academy of Music celebrates its 250th anniversary. It is fantastic that we can incorporate the jazz festival’s concerts on 6 August in the academy’s jubilee programme,” says Susanne Rydén, CEO of Musik i Syd. “We have a very good collaboration with the YAZZ association – an association that, like us, is passionate about live music.”
