One of Sweden’s leading jazz vocalists, Hannah Svensson, returns to the Ystad Sweden Jazz Festival with a band of top-class musicians for a concert that reflects her musical career so far. She says: “Reaching the age of 40 is a milestone, in life as well as musically – an insight that there have been a lot of songs and albums along the way.”

Hannah Svensson has gained a growing reputation not only as an expressive jazz singer but also as a songwriter for her strong melodies and emotive lyrics. Her most recent album is “The Other Way Around” (2023),

The Hanna Svensson Band draws on a range of musical influences from classical jazz to bebop and blues in playing original compositions and interpretations of songs from the Great American Songbook.
