Singer and composer Emmalisa Hallander is one of Sweden’s most promising jazz talents with a style reminiscent of the classic era of vocal jazz.

Emmalisa Hallander has had a meteoric rise since finishing her studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 2023. Her two albums “Have a Look Inside” (2023) and “Out of Reach (2025) have received glowing reviews. She composed eight of the ten tracks on the new album and the music, evoking romance and longing, has drawn many comparisons with the great jazz evergreens of the 1930s and 1940s.
