Klostret is one of the most well-preserved medieval monasteries in Sweden. The monastery church “klosterkyrkan” is part of the Franciscan monastery “Klostret” founded in Ystad in the 1200s. Today, the monastery consists of the monastery church and one remaining wing, which houses Ystad’s cultural history museum.
